St. Paul's Retirement Homes Foundation

Phase III Complete!

111 Elm Street is San Diego's
first PACE site

Since September 2001, the Foundation has worked to bring the first Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) to San Diego. Our efforts resulted in the successful completion of Phases I and II of our capital campaign by raising $3 million to purchase and renovate the St. Paul's PACE site at 111 Elm Street.

We are pleased to report that as of December 31, 2007, we have met our Phase III goal of $2 million to underwrite the program's first year of operations.

In the last six months, St. Paul's raised more that $789,000 to complete our campaign. For their generous support, St. Paul's wishes to thank the Alliance Healthcare Foundation, the Archstone Foundation, the California Wellness Foundation, the Masserini Charitable Trust, and the Weingart-Price Foundation, as well personal gifts from Richard and Kaye Woltman and Frances Hamilton White.

St. Paul's PACE is a special program that will bring important healthcare services and social interaction to the frail elderly living in San Diego. We encourage all members of our community to take a moment to learn about PACE. It’s a proven model of care that has worked in over 35 sites throughout the United States.
